Edward Kane of Reno, Nevada. Age: 28Edward Kane of Reno, Nevada. Age: 28My name is Edward. I?m a young E.D. sufferer. It can happen at this age. I?ve read that it can happen to anyone, really. I?m still a young man and I?ve got a lot of living left ahead of me, so I had a lot of trouble accepting the fact that I had been stricken with this debilitating disorder. I completely refused to accept it, and didn?t do anything about it. Like most guys, I lead an active dating life. I often find myself getting into close, intimate situations with girlfriends. But when E.D. set in, I couldn?t believe what was happening. I had to make up excuses every time for what was going on ? I was stressed, or whatever? sometimes I?d blame it on the girl. I felt awful afterwards. I came up with the most creative excuses, but pretty soon I just chickened out entirely when I was with women. I embarrassed myself so many times, I couldn?t go through it anymore. My relationships kept falling apart because I was unable to keep them together without the physical side, which is important at my age, especially in a new relationship. My doctor told me that my E.D. was a psychological problem. I won?t say I was surprised, because I wasn?t. I?d always thought that it was a mental thing, but for some reason I thought I could get over it on my own. I thought it was a phase. I was surprised to learn that Viagra can be prescribed to people like me with psychological impotence, and more importantly that it really works. I was skeptical, but willing to try it. Anything would be better than keeping up this game for any longer. I decided to go with the lower, 25 mg dose of the drug. Since my problem wasn?t as bad as many of the stories I?d heard about, I figured I wouldn?t need as heavy a dose. At the time, I was dating a wonderful girl whom I care about and love very much. But things were beginning to fall apart for the same reasons that all my other relationships had in the past few months. This time I decided to take action. Armed with new confidence, and a new drug, I explained to her that things were going to be different from here on in. I told her that I was going to be more attentive to her needs and more responsive. I?m not sure that she understood completely, but after we made love, everything was fine. It was magical. The pill went to work right away, like we?re talking within half an hour of taking it. Since then, I?ve been able to stop taking Viagra and now I am able to achieve erection on my own, but I give Viagra all the credit. If I had not taken action and tried the medication, I would have been doomed to spending the rest of my life with E.D. Now I know, there are options. If I ever run into E.D. when I?m older, I know exactly who to turn to ? and it?s one less thing to worry about. I?ve also gotten married to my beautiful girlfriend, and things are looking fantastic. |
